Tara Lemke

Tara received her Honours degree in Biochemistry at Ottawa University in the year 2000. She went on to complete a degree in General Arts (silver medal) at Ottawa University in 2002 before obtaining her Bachelor of Laws from Queens’ University in 2004.

Tara completed her articles at a well known personal injury/insurance defence boutique firm in Toronto before returning to Ottawa to practice law. Since her call to the Bar in 2005, she has specialized in insurance defence litigation including motor vehicle liability, slip and falls, product liability and professional negligence. Her experience includes personal injury litigation and employment litigation. Her practice covers all aspects of a litigation matter including co-counselling on both jury and non-jury trials.

Tara joined the Ottawa office of Flaherty Dow Elliott & McCarthy in January, 2008 where she will continue to focus her practice in insurance defence and personal injury litigation.
